Vicky Kaushal is currently on cloud nine after giving back-to-back hits like Raazi, Sanju and Uri: The Surgical Strike. However, not just his professional life, but his personal life too is making headlines. Vicky had proclaimed his love for Harleen Sethi during the promotions of Manmarziyaan. But the two have now broken up and the reason speculated for the same is Vicky’s growing proximity with Katrina.

It all started when Katrina Kaif appeared on Koffee with Karan and said that she would like to work with Vicky Kaushal. Hearing this the actor almost pretended to faint on the show. Later, he told Mumbai Mirror, "I was surprised that she knows about my existence."

Now, reports have been rife that at the recently held gala nights and award functions bloomed friendship between Vicky and Katrina. From singing 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' to shouting 'How's the josh? High, sir!', Vicky and Katrina’s brewing friendship has become the talk of the town lately. Vicky and Katrina reunited at Zoya Akhtar’s house party, and speculations have it that they are now more than ‘just friends’.’

Meanwhile, in a 2018 interview with The Times of India, Vicky Kaushal had talked about love, ''Love hasn’t changed and it never will, no matter what kind of a society we become. You will still feel the butterflies in your stomach when you meet that special person for the first time, when you feel differently for that one person in the room, when you can’t take your eyes and thoughts off him/her. It doesn’t matter how new or old school you are. However, with time and exposure, the social fabric changes. So, while love remains the same, our approach towards it changes.''

On the work front, Vicky will be seen next in a horror comedy with Bhumi Pednekar. He will be also seen in Karan Johar's ambitious, multi-starrer Takht where he will once again share the frame with Bhumi. The period drama also features Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor. On the other hand, Katrina is gearing for her big Eid release with Salman Khan's Bharat.
