Known for his intense acting, Rajkumar Rao has now decided to bang the big screen with a romantic-comedy story. The film which is directed by Ajay K Pannalal also casts Shruti Hassan opposite Rao.
Rajkumar, who plays the role of ‘Gattu’ is a middle class man who falls in love with his neighbour Binny (Shruti Hassan). The film talks the Indian mentality that all women are mothers and sisters.
However, the concept is not new but one can watch it for Rajkumar as he hasn’t done a solo romantic-comedy movie. The last comedy movie in which he was seen was Dolly Ki Doli but Sonam Kapoor took away the limelight in that movie.
The film also features stars like Gulshan Grover, Gautam Gulati and Darshan Jariwala. It is all set to hit the theatres on June 2.
