After making chartoppers out of old Bollywood songs one after another, here's another classic on the rake up for being re-recorded with new artists and new lyrics and are being filmed on stars of Generation.
From Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani the song changed to The Jawaani Song or Ankh Marey for Simbba while Paisa Paisa that was revamped for Total Dhamaal to promote the films one lines of old is gold, now, another hit song of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan from 90’s film Karan Arjun is being recreated for a film titled Bhangra Paa Le.
According to a report by Pune Mirror, the film will be helmed by Ramesh Taurani’s daughter, and will be shot in Punjab. The revamped version of the song will be shot in Mumbai.
Brother of URI: The Surgical Strikes actor Vicky Kaushal, Sunny Kaushal is the lead actor in the film, Bhangra Paa Le, while Rukshar Dhillon, who will make her Bollywood debut with this film, will play the female lead. The film is about how Bhangra became popular in Punjab.
The song will be picturised on Sunny and will be a dance number. “The new song will be picturised on Sunny in Mumbai after Sneha returns from London, where the film will be wrapped up in a 10-day schedule.”
Bhangra Paa Le is slated to release on September 13, 2019.
