Ever since Bollywood star Irrfan Khan disclosed on Twitter that he is suffering from a rare disease, speculations regarding his health have started doing the rounds on media. The ‘Hindi Medium’ actor requested the fans not to speculate on his condition and said that he himself would inform them about the development.
However, messages suggesting the ‘Life Of Pi’ actor is suffering from brain cancer got circulated on social media. Various Bollywood celebrities had to urge the fans to show some respect to the critically acclaimed actor and put the speculations on hold.
The ‘Piku’ actor’s wife Sutapa Sikdar took to Facebook to issue a statement about her husband’s health. Sikdar thanked the fans for their wishes, prayers and concern and also requested them not to speculate any further.
She wrote,’’ I know curiosity germinates from concern but let’s turn our curiosity from what it is to what it should be. Let’s change the leaf. Lets not waste our precious energies to only know what it is and just prey to make it what it should be.’’
She added,''My humble request to all of you is to concentrate on the song of life, to dance of life to victory.My family will soon join in this dance of life''.
Irrfan Khan's tweet which he posted on Monday had left his millions of fans anxious and concerned. Fans consider their favourite actors as real life heroes and pray for their well-being from time to time and hence the news came as shocker to them.
