1. Sonu Nigam 'Azaan' controversy  

Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam recently stoked a controversy over early morning Azaan while calling it as cacophonous and intimidation in nature. The singer wrote on social media that he was woken up by the sound of a mosque. He wrote that despite being not a Muslim, he has to wake up early morning, and questioned that when this forced religiousness would end in the country.  Later on Wednesday, after a reaction to a fatwa issued by a cleric from West Bengal, who had announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh to anyone who shaves his hair off and after his tweets about the use of loudspeakers for azaans, Sonu went ahead to shave his head.The singer shaved his head on live TV just after his press conference in Mumbai

2. Baahubali: Sathyaraj's statement regarding 'Cauvery River' controversy

Pro- Kannada outfits threatened the makers of 'Baahubali' that they will not allow the film to release it under "any circumstances" unless actor Sathyaraj tendered unconditional apology for his "anti-Kannadiga" remarks he made nine years ago. Apologising for his comment the Tamil actor said his comment was not against Karnataka and his motto is to continue speaking for the welfare of Tamil people even if he does not get work in the industry. Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli, the director of the film also took to twitter to make an emotional appeal to allow a smooth release of the movie considering the hard works of all other members of the cast who have given their days and nights to make the film happen.

3. Akshay Kumar 'National Award' controversy   

While Akshay Kumar's best actor win for 'Rustom' in 64th National Film Awards raised questions in peoples' mind. Many in social media are attributing Akshay's win to his close proximity to Priyadarshan. Many Bollywood celebrities reacted on this issue but Raveena Tandon's verdict became the talk of the town.

4. Sonam Kapoor 'Twitter' trolls   

Once again the actress gave Twitterati to troll her on her statement for a leading daily about trolls happened to celebrities. Her statement in the column asked readers to recall a line from the National Anthem which goes, "Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Issai". The part went viral and soon people began trolling Sonam for misquoting the National Anthem.

5. Rajkumar Rao's look in 'Raabta'   

Lastly the much talked about the issue of the week had remained none other than Rajkumar Rao's look for the movie 'Raabta' which has definitely shocked people. National Award-winning actor Rajkumar Rao is portraying a character of 324 years old mysterious looking man who was spotted at the very end scene of the trailer. He was totally unrecognisable before one could realise he is the one.
