Critically acclaimed director Christopher Edward Nolan is in India, and fans can’t keep their calm. Our favourite stars have not been able to stop themselves from gushing about meeting the Man Of Steel filmmaker.

The Interstellar director is on a three-day trip to India to promote the cause of film preservation and restoration. Many prominent actors have expressed their desire to work with the Oscar nominated director.

Bollywood’s Baadshaah Shah Rukh recently had a fan moment with the Dark Knight director and he couldn’t be happier. The Kal Ho Na actor took to social media to share a picture with Nolan and his caption said it all.

King Khan wrote, ''My Fanboy moment. Inspiring to hear Mr.Nolan & Ms.Tacita Dean talk of the virtues of celluloid as an artist’s medium. Thanks Shivi Dungarpur for having me over’’.

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan also met Christopher Nolan and the meeting seemed to an exciting affair.

The Bigg Boss Tamil host shared a picture with the Inception director with the caption that read, ''Met Mr.Christopher Nolan. Apologized for seeing Dunkirk in the digital format and in return am sending Hey Ram in digital format for him to see. Was surprised to know he had seen Paapanaasam’’.

Christopher Nolan while talking about the importance of preserving celluloid in the current digital age revealed that his aim is to empower the filmmakers to view their choices of medium as one thing they have to fight for."

The Batman Begins director who has previously promoted film preservation and restoration in the UK and US, said that he was elated with the kind of response he got from the Indian film fraternity.
