Chunkey Panday's nephew Ahaan Panday is quite a social media sensation and his popularity is growing by the day. The star kid is finally ready to begin his journey in Bollywood. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Ahaan Panday has bagged a role in Rani Mukerji's upcoming film, Mardaani 2. But there is a twist. He is not making his debut as an actor, instead, he will be an assistant director for the film.Â
Earlier, Chunkey Panday had revealed that Ahaan will be joining Bollywood and will be launched by some big banner. ''He is a very hard working boy and he will also have an announcement soon. He is not debuting with Dharma (Productions), but somewhere else... It could be Yash Raj (Films). I can't really talk about it, but a very good news will be announced soon," Chunky Panday had said.
Ahaan is not the only star kid to make his entry in Bollywood as an assistant director. Recently, Shanaya Kapoor also joined Janhvi Kapoor's Kargil Girl as assistant director. Ahaan during an earlier interaction with IANS had said, "I’m just excited to be a part of this wonderful industry. Films and acting has been something I’ve always been interested in, glam isn’t what attracted me to this, my love for the craft and film did! I’m excited for the destination and the journey already excites me.''
Meanwhile his cousin Ananya Panday is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Student of the Year 2. The film also stars Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria in pivotal roles. She will be also seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh with Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. The film is set to hit the screens on December 6.
