Just a day after Deepika Padukone was snapped at the Mumbai airport with her dad Prakash Padukone, a video from her spotting is now going viral on the internet. The two were heading to Bengaluru on Friday. In the video shared on social media, Deepika and her dad are seen entering the airport and someone in the background asks for her ID. On hearing the same, Deepika turns back and politely asks, ''Chahiye?''

And soon after, takes out her ID and shows it to the guard. While some fans praised Deepika for not throwing any starry tantrums and politely showing her ID, some lauded the guard who asked for Deepika's ID and didn't let stardom come in the way of his work. A social media user commented, "I like how she was ready to show her ID. Respect", while another wrote, ''Great! Rules are rules".

On the work front, Deepika will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak where she is playing the role of an acid attack survivor. After wrapping up Chhapaak, Deepika jetted off to England to shoot for Kabir Khan’s where she will be seen playing the role of Kapil Dev’s wife. The film will see Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev.

Then what made her do the film? "Mostly Ranveer, and perhaps the zeros on the cheque?" said the source.

Touted to be the 'biggest sports film' of the country, ‘83 is slated to hit the screens on 10 April 2020 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
