Remember Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh who played the role of Inspector Sartaj Singh from 'Udta Punjab'?
Well, the singer-actor is once again hitting the headlines for his next project.
According to the media reports, Dosanjh has been roped in for Akshay Kumar's recently announced project with Karan Johar and Salman Khan.
Reportedly, it was Akki who referred Diljit for the movie as he has been quite impressed with the 'Sardaarji' actor.

“Akshay has loved Diljit’s previous performances in other films and therefore, decided to offer him a role alongside him. Diljit too is excited about the offer. He has a substantial role in the film,” a source reportedly told a leading daily.
This yet-to-be titled movie is said to be directed by award-winning Punjabi director Anurag Singh.
Besides, if the media reports are to be believed, Salman, who is producing this movie, too will make a guest appearance in it.
Currently, Diljit is busy with Anushka Sharma's upcoming production 'Phillauri'. The movie is slated to hit the screens on March 24.
On the other hand, Salman Khan is also occupied with his forthcoming movie with Kabir Khan 'Tubelight' which is expected to release on Eid this year.
