Disha Patani has reportedly been injured on the set of her latest outing, Malang. The 27-year-old actor who is on a no-resting-feet schedule just weeks after ‘Bharat’ with Salman Khan got injured on Malang set and has reportedly been provided with the required medical treatment promising to back on the sets soon, as per schedule, according to reports.
“Disha got hurt while shooting a sequence for Malang. The actress has received the required medication and she is better now. Disha will resume shooting as per schedule’’ PinkVilla reports. In a video that the entertainment website shared, Disha can be seen receiving medical assistance as she gets her hair and makeup done.
Talking about injury on the sets, the actress who is paired with Aditya Roy Kapur for Malang revealed that she had hurt her knee while doing a stunt for Bharat.
"As part of my prep, I had already learnt different kinds of skills like front and back flips. However, I hurt my knee just days before the shoot. I was doing a front salto [a flipping skill which includes a front or back tuck] during my rehearsal when I mistimed my landing and injured my knee. I was advised bed rest for the next few days and underwent deep tissue massages for relief. Luckily, I recovered [in time] for the shoot," she had told Mid-day.
Directed by Mohit Suri, Malang also stars Kunal Kemmu and Anil Kapoor and is expected to hit the big screen on Valentine’s Day, 2020.
