Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming flick Cheat India will be another nail that hits hard on the education system of India. The teaser of Soumik Sen directorial released today. Emraan can be seen playing the character of Rakesh Singh, who helps people in clearing entrance exams, of course through other means. The movie revolves around the malpractices that are performed by various individuals to get through college entrance exams, UPSC and other competitive examinations.

The Jannat star has evolved in his Bollywood journey. From an actor only known for his kissing scenes to performing influential roles, Emraan has emerged himself as a versatile actor. Recently, the trailer for his film Tigers was released online. The Murder 2 actor also has Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Production Netflix Original film, The Bard Of Blood, in his pipeline.
Actor Shreya Dhanwanthary will make her Bollywood debut with Cheat India but she was not spotted in the teaser. Written and directed by Soumik Sen, the movie is produced by T-Series, Ellipsis Entertainment and Emraan Hashmi Films.

The movie is slated to hit the theatres on January 25, 2019, coinciding with Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 and Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika, which will also be released on the same date.
