Jackky entered the ride of silver screen through his first release ‘Kal Kisne Dekha’, also starring Vaishali Desai and directed by Vivek Sharma. But the movie failed to register its impact on the audience and the actor’s charm was left unnoticed. His next 2011 release ‘FALTU’ registered a moderate hit at the box office and received mix reviews. The actor, however, never gave up and gave a promising performance in Remo D’Souza directorial comedy film, also starring Ritesh Deshmukh. The ‘FALTU’ actor was also the leading face of Azab Gazabb Love, Priyadarshan directed Rangrezz, political drama Youngistaan, and father Vashu Bhagnani produced Welcome 2 Karachi, among others.

Hailing the average stroke on the popularity of Hindi Cinema, Jackky still awaits to rise to stardom of this glorified industry. After the fatal debut, hitting the right chord, FALTU could have been considered the actor’s turning point. But Jackky contradicts the revelations and said Mitron will be his turning point in career. The actor says, “I’ll always remember Mitron as it will give me validation that I have been anticipating for the past 16 years.”

“I thought FALTU was my turning point, but it wasn’t. It didn’t take me anywhere despite being a successful film. I was still blamed for getting it easy. People never stopped asking me to prove my potential," the actor says.

Shot in a backdrop of Gujarat landscape, Jackky plays the character of Jay, who is very lazy and always misunderstood. He wants everything easy but is not willing to pull the trigger of hard work. Nitin Kakkar directed Mitron revolves around a group of friends and their journey together.

Mitron’, also starring Pratik Gandhi, Neeraj Sood, and Shivam Parekh, and produced by Vikram Malhotra, is riding high on the promotions. The film will be released on September 14.
