The teaser of the much-awaited Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Aishwarya Rai starrer Fanney Khan was released on social media. The movie is directed by Atul Manjrekar and will hit the theatres on August 3 which will fall on Friendship Day weekend.
In the one-minute video, Rajkummar is describing the meaning of the term ‘Fanney Khan’ which is someone who can amuse anyone but this story is about that ‘Fanney Khan’ who has revised the meaning of this term.
During the narration by Rajkummar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan can be seen in a glamourous look while Anil Kapoor seemed more like a common man who is sitting on the roof of his house playing a trumpet and wishing for his dreams to come true.
The movie is said to be a remake of a Oscar nominated Dutch film titled Everybody’s Famous. During the beginning of the shoot, Aishwarya Rai clearly denied to shoot any intimate scenes for the film.
Music composed by Amit Trivedi, Fanney Khan will mark Aishwarya Rai and Anil Kapoor’s collaboration after a gap of 17 years.
