Recently Don fans were in for the big shock of their lives when rumours surfaced that Ranveer Singh will be replacing Shah Rukh Khan in the Don 3. Brushing aside the rumours as just rumours, fans got a sense of relief when Zoya Akhtar earlier this week dismissed the news of Ranveer Singh replacing SRK in Don 3 as "absolute nonsense". Refusing to spill any breadcrumbs Zoya had stated, "Na toh main Farhan Akhtar hoon, na hi main Shah Rukh Khan ya Ritesh Sidhwani (producer) hoon’’.

Farhan Akhtar, who directed the much-loved action franchise finally opens up to what he thinks about this whole Ranveer Singh, SRK talks in Don 3. The actor cum director star told DNA, “I am a bit tired of speaking about Don 3. This news doesn’t come from me. I don’t start and end it. People can happily say what they want to and amuse themselves. When I have something to say, I will say it. There is nothing to hide.”

To make things clear, Pinkvilla, who claims to have reached out to Farhan himself for some clarification had a thing or two to say in an exclusive statement. The filmmaker told Pinkvilla said, "I’m completely focused on prep for Toofan right now. I have nothing to say about Don."

It is hence clear that Farhan is in no time giving any spoiler alert for Don 3 and neither is the cast though many reports still speculate that SRK himself will be the face of Don 3. However, one thing we can all be assured is that Don is not happening anytime soon. Ritesh Sidhwani, when speaking to Mumbai Mirror, had also earlier told Mumbai Mirror, "We are still working on it and don’t know when it will happen. It’s a keenly awaited franchise and we can’t disappoint the fans."
