The Filmfare Awards 2019 had several ‘awwwe-worthy’ moments with Alia’s ‘I Love You’ for Ranbir Kapoor and the latter kissing her after his name was announced for the Best Actor award. Also, Alia-Ranbir and Deepika-Ranveer’s camaraderie at the awards was spot on. However, what stood out was exes Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor hugged it out in front of Alia Bhatt who was happy to see their sweet gesture.
For the initiated, Alia and Kat are BFFs, but there were rumours of how things weren’t fine between them with Bhatt dating Kaif's ex-boyfriend. But, this sweet gesture can for once put all the rumour mills to rest and the rare moment should be only cherished by fans.
At the 64th edition of the award, Ranbir and Alia emerged winners in their respective categories --- Alia was adjudged the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) for her mind-blowing performance as Sehmat in Raazi, and Ranbir won the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) for the portrayal of the titular role in Sanju. The adorable couple, who have been dating ever since they were on the sets of their next film 'Brahmastra', were seated next to each other at the event.
