Bollywood actor Girish Kumar Taurani created a buzz in the tinselvile lately when he announced his wedding. What was more surprising that the 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' actor has been married for a year now.
Girish made this revelation during his recent interview and stated that he has hidden his wedding as he didn't want his budding career to be affected because of marriage.
The actor further spoke about his lady love Krsna and stated that the two were childhood friends before love blossomed between them a decade ago.Â
“Krsna and I were childhood friends and schoolmates. We started dating in our teens and in 2007, realised this was serious and for keeps," Girish told a leading daily.
He even asserted that his wife Krsna did understand his situation about keeping their wedding under the wraps and supported him.
“Krsna was a little apprehensive but she understood my need to safeguard my film’s interests. But now I want to share her with the world and declare my love for her officially,†Kumar added.
Girish even shared their wedding picture with his wife on Instagram along with a caption, "My everything, mine forever".

The couple got married on February 11 last year in a traditional Sindhi wedding in Jodhpur.
Recalling their D-Day, Krsna shared “I wore a 14 kg lehenga designed by Manish Malhotra for my wedding and Girish couldn’t take his eyes off me. He even made the pandit wait in the mandap so I could drink some coffee since I’d been busy with rituals all day and not found the time to eat anything, These little things are so romantic.â€Â
On the work front, Girish was last seen in 2016 release 'Loveshhuda' opposite Navneet Kaur Dhillon.
Currently, he is helping his father (producer Kumar Taurani) with some music for his films but states that acting does remain his only love.
The actor even stated that he is even looking for a good script to make a comeback on the big screen.
