'Half Girlfriend' the cinematic adaption of Chetan Vagat's novel of the same name revolvs around the friendship and love story of a Bihari Boy Madhav Jha and smart and stylish richy Riya Somani.
Though such kind of typical love stories have been seen many times before the naturalistic act of both Sharddha and Arjun will not let you to give up on it.
Unlike most of the romcoms dramas released in the recent past 'Meri Pyaari Bindu', 'Phillauri', 'OK Jaanu', 'Befikre', 'Baar Baar Dekho', 'Half Girlfriend' is doing better in the Box office.
In terms of box office collection the movie is next only to 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' (13.30 crore) and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' (12.25 crore), both being Karan Johar productions.
Befikre took a slightly better Day One (10.36 crore) but that's about it.
'Half Girlfriend- Dost se jyada, Girlfriend se km' helmed by Mohit Suri is the third collaboration of Sharddha and Mohit, 'Aashiqui 2' and 'Ek Villain' being the first and second respectively.
