Shraddha Kapoor, who is at present gearing up for her forthcoming venture 'Haseena Parkar', has dropped the trailer of the biopic on micro-blogging site Twitter on Tuesday. As soon as the trailer hit the social networking sites, it has left everyone stunned.

The 'Aashiqui 2' fame who will be seen portraying the character of the late Haseena Parkar, the notorious underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, has proved her immense acting potential in the trailer. Quite surprisingly, the diva, who is well known for her girl-next-door image, has transformed herself completely and shares an uncanny resemble with Dawood sister in the movie.

Sharing the trailer of the movie Shraddha took to twitter on Tuesday and wrote, "Very excited and nervous to share the trailer of #HaseenaParkar Hope you all like it."

The breath-taking trailer drew our attention towards the life of late God-Mother Haseena Parkar and the way she was ruling the whole Mumbai in the absence of her elder brother and his towering shadow in the city , post 1993 blasts.

Interestingly, this is the first time that Shraddha will be sharing the screen space with her brother. Her own brother Siddharth Kapoor will be seen portraying the character of Dawood.

Indeed, it is one of the most challenging roles ever played by Shraddha and she is quite excited about it. "I am excited but I am more nervous as I play from the age of 17 to 43 so that whole character graph is there. The character is going to be difficult. I hope I’m convincing," the actress was quoted as saying.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, 'Haseena Parkar' is scheduled to hit the screens on August 18, 2017.
