Veteran actress Hema Malini has confirmed daughter Esha Deol's pregnancy and stated that both the families are overjoyed with the news. It was reported that Esha is expecting her first child after five years of wedding. She had married businessman Bharat Takhtani in June 2012. Hema took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share her happiness and wrote, "Deols & Takhtanis are overjoyed to announce that @Esha_Deol & Bharat are expecting their 1st baby. We thk u all for all ur good wishes".
Interestingly, it's been a couple of months when Hema's has stated that she is keen to see Esha expanding her family. In fact, on Esha's 35th birthday in November, Hema was also quoted as saying, "My only wish for Esha is you have to have a baby soon. As a mother, that's my wish".

According to the media reports, the'Dhoom' actress is expected to deliver in October this year.
Indeed, it is a happy moment for Dharmendra and Hema Malini, who will be becoming nana-nani for the second time after their younger daughter Ahana gave birth to son Darien last year. In fact, if the media reports are to be believe, Hema has already begun preparations for the soon-to-be mommy and her baby. “An excited Hemaji is already planning how to make her (Esha) room more child-friendly. The baby should arrive towards the year-end," a source was reported as saying.
