Earlier, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has opened up about his experience of discriminatory behaviour at international airports because of his religion and now its Pakistani actress and ‘Hindi Medium’ star Saba Qamar who has come up with the same issue.
In a recent video released, the actress poured her heart out and shares her experience of discrimination at international airport because of her country’s passport.
In the viral video, Saba can be seen in tears as she explains the humiliation she faces at the airport just because she owns a Pakistani passport.
The actress said, “We boast about Pakistan. We say Pakistan is this and that. But when you go out of the country and the way we are checked, I can’t tell you. I feel so humiliated the way I am frisked. I remember I want for a shoot in Tbilisi (Capital of Georgia) and my entire Indian crew was allowed to go’’.
‘’But I was stopped because of my Pakistani passport. I was investigated and they took my interview and then they let me go. That day I realised this is what our position is and this is where we stand’’.
Saba Qamar is a well-known face in Pakistan and is popularly known for her roles in Dastaan, Jinnah Ke Naam and Aina and many more
