Hrithik Roshan may be one of the most talented kingpins in the B-town and also one of the most handsome in the world, his tag of an ‘A-lister’ however, isn’t without struggles and tugs of war. Despite being the son of the filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, the Dhoom star has always been one to make his own kingdom and status and that involves taking a stand in his own challenges to emerge a winner. Roshaners will know that the handsome hunk wasn’t born with the almost perfect star is he, for long he had fought his own battle in speech impairment.
According to Mumbai Mirror, the star who has also been appointed as the brand ambassador of The Indian Stammering Association (TISA) spoke about the struggles of his stammering and how he overcame it, “I’d practise every day to overcome the speech issue, I still do for an hour at least so that I can control the secondary actions like twitching and all. The unacceptability to stammering was not only bothersome in my childhood but prevailed till 2012, long after I had become a film star.’’
During the meeting, Hrithik also spoke about the one time when he had to go to Dubai for an award but had struggled to say the word ‘Dubai’ during the acceptance speech but eventually managed to deliver it without difficulty.
Hrithik Roshan, who first made a debut with the blockbuster hit of 2000, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai will be seen next in Super 30 a movie which is reportedly based on the life of the maths genius from Bihar, named Anand Kumar, who coached children from backward communities to crack the elite IIT examination.
