Is Uday Chopra suffering from depression? The Dhoom actor clears the air
Uday Chopra took everyone by surprise when his cryptic tweet about he being not ok went viral. Some even took the tweets to him suffering from depression. Although he deleted the tweets soon after, the screenshots have gone viral
On Friday, the actor wrote, "For a few hours, I De-activated my twitter account. It felt as close to death as I could get. Was phenomenal! I think this is a good option for suicide. I might be doing it permanently soon."
"Confession: I am not ok! I am trying but so far I'm failing," he wrote in another tweet.
Concerned fans and well-wishers asked him about his mental condition and tried their best to pacify and console him.
However, the actor cleared the air around the tweets and said that it was just dark humour that got misinterpreted.
"Seems like I tweeted something recently that got a few of you worried. I’m totally fine, it's just my dark humour that sometimes gets misunderstood. Thanks for all your concern though." he tweeted.

Uday Chopra who was last seen in Dhoom 3 in 2013 is going through a rough phase in his career. He was back in the news when rumours of him breaking up with Nargis Fakhri did round. He even tweeted about how he missed being with her.
"I wish I could love with the same intensity I used to love a few years ago. There was this girl and I felt alive just loving her. I've lost that now. I just want that passion back. Maybe that's all I need." he tweeted.
