‘Ishaqzaade’ fame Charu Rohatgi, who reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest, has passed away this morning. She was 48. The actress was last seen in famous television commercial Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3, which also featured Barun Sobti.

Charu has drooled fans over her acting skills in various TV shows like 'Pratigya', 'Uttaran', 'Trideviyaan' and many more. She stepped into her career with Sony TV’s 'Ladies Special' and later worked in Bollywood flicks like 'Patiala House', 'Ishaqzaade', '15 Park Avenue', 'Second Marriage Dot Com' and '1920 London'.

Actress Parineeti Chopra, who played her daughter in 'Ishaqzaade' took to Twitter to express her grief over Charu’s demise.

“RIP Charu Rohatgi ma'am. You were the most loving mother in Ishaqzaade and an amazing woman to work with. May your family have the strength to cope with this loss. Will never forget you!”, Parineeti wrote.

“A source close to Charu told that the cause of death was stress as she was shooting until 3 am. Her funeral will take place today, however, the time is yet to be decided since one of her daughters will reach the city at 2 pm,” a report on SpotboyE.com read.
