Janhvi Kapoor is scaling new heights literally with her biopic on first IAF woman pilot in a combat role, Gunjan Saxena and now by signing her fourth film, professionally as well.

The Dhaadak actress will soon start the second schedule of Gunjan Saxena biopic and even before starting preparations for Takht, the actor has now bagged her fourth, Rooh -Afza. Co-starring Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma of Fukrey fame, the film is a horror comedy and is set to kick off in Uttar Pradesh in June this year.

The makers of the film were looking for an actor who hadn't tried the genre of horror comedy yet and found Janhvi to fit the bill just perfectly. In an official statement, producer Dinesh Vijan has been quoted as saying, "Rajkummar and Varun are actors who excel in comedy and own the space. For the leading lady, we were looking for someone who had not experimented with the genre before and Janhvi fir the bill perfectly. The script is young and wonderfully crazy and though we haven't seen Janhvi in this avatar yet, that's how she is in real life. I'm pretty sure she will pull off the casting personalities with effortless ease."

Producer Mrighdeep adds, "For a newcomer like Janhvi this sounds challenging and exciting, producer Mrighdeep adds "We took some time to finalize the female lead. Besides being pretty, she needed to oscillate between two characters which are poles apart. You will fall in love with her in one scene and won’t believe she is the same girl in the next one. It's not an easy switch for an actor. It’s the perfect casting."

The statement also revealed that Janhvi will play a double role in the film and both her characters - Roohi and Afsana - will be contrasting personalities. The film will be directed by debutant Hardik Mehta.

Rajkummar is now looking forward to the release of Mental Hai Kya, which also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Amyra Dastur, Amrita Puri and Satish Kaushik among others. Shah Rukh Khan also has an extended cameo in the film, which is slated to release on May 24.
