It was a Valentine's day surprise for Akshay Kumar's recent release 'Jolly LLB 2' earned Rs 66.79 crores so far.
The satirical courtroom drama which stars Huma Qureshi as a female lead witnessed a slight jump in its box office collections on Tuesday and earned Rs 9.07 cr as compared to its Monday collections.
It is indeed a good sign for the makers given that usually the collections of a movie tend to fall during weekdays. However, 'Jolly LLB 2' reportedly a 20% jump in the mid-week.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the box office report and wrote "JollyLLB2 biz jumps on Tue [Valentine's Day]... Fri 13.20 cr, Sat 17.31 cr, Sun 19.95 cr, Mon 7.26 cr, Tue 9.07 cr. Total: ₹ 66.79 cr."

If the media reports are to be believed, the movie will cross Rs 75 crore by the end of first week given that it is winning the word of mouth.
Talking about 'Jolly LLB 2', Akshay Kumar has played the role of an advocate for the first time in it.
The movie happens to be the sequel of Arshad Warsi's 2012 release 'Jolly LLB'.
