The first song from Abhishek Varman’s period drama, Kalank is finally out. Titled Ghar More Pardesiya, the song features Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit and Varun Dhawan. Written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by Pritam, Ghar More Pardesiya is set against the background of the Ramayan festival.

Alia Bhatt’s classical dance moves is the main attraction of the song. She is bound to leave you mesmerised with her amazing dancing style. Madhri Dixit’s expressions and Varun Dhawan’s intense kohl-eyes will leave you asking for more. While Madhuri wore a peach-coloured dress with ethnic jewelry, Alia kept it simple in a white number and minimal accessories.

Earlier on Sunday, Alia teased fans with a teaser from the song and revealed that shooting for the song gave her sleepless nights. “A song that gave me sleepless nights, days & months is coming very very soon.. I think you can safely say that I have never been SO nervous for anything in my life.. *screams frantically and hides under bed* You may have to send a search party to find me. Meanwhile watch this space for more..,” she wrote on her Instagram handle.

The film also features Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in prominent roles. Recently, the makers of Kalank released the much-anticipated teaser and we must say, it will leave you impressed and intrigued. This period tale set in the 1940s India has definitely got the mood right.

The film, written and directed by Abhishek Varman, is a joint production venture between Dharma Productions, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios. The film will hit the screens on April 17.
