Not only Bollywood but South Indian Film industry was also left shattered after the news came out about the Vinod Khanna's sudden demise.

One of the popular actor Kamal Haasan, who has set a benchmark in Hindi cinema also was shocked at the news.

Kamal Haasan, while condoling the death of the actor said that his film Achanak, released in 1973, inspired him to take to directing films seriously.

The actor revealed “Achanak is a film that changed my life. When I saw it at 18 for the first time, I was encouraged to become a director. This man didn’t know it at that time. But Vinod Khanna was a precursor to Stallone’s First Blood. It’s the story of a betrayed commando who goes on a rampage. Sylvester Stallone did it many years ago. Now, I want to see where I can take this character.”

Directed by Gulzar, the film starred Vinod Khanna, Lily Chakravarty and Asrani. 

This might hint us that the actor is planning to make a remake of the film. Definitwly, it would be interesting to watch the movie, once again creating the old magic which it created earlier.

Indeed, Vinod Khanna has been an inspiration for many in the industry.

The actor also took to Twitter to pay tribute to Vinod Khanna.

Kamal Haasan had begun his Saabash Naidu last year but the film had faced several blockade. The director of the movie TK Rajeev Kumar fell ill which drove Kamal Haasan to take over as it's director.

Then the film's progress was once again stalled due to the leg fracture he suffered after a fall from the staircase at his residence.

Now, according to the latest buzz the film has been stopped due to financial crisis.

Meanwhile, Kamal's Vishwaroopam 2's post-production work is almost over and is expected to hit the screens by the end of this year.
