Bollywood Diva Kangana Ranaut is celebrating her 31st birthday on Friday. Considered as one of the finest actresses in the industry, Ranaut is known for portraying unconventional roles.

The diva, known for her bold statements, is one of the very few people to openly talk about nepotism in the Hindi film industry.  

From calling Karan Johar as the flag bearer of nepotism to rejecting fairness cream endorsements, The Rangoon actress has never shied away from breaking the norms of the industry.

The Pahadi beauty grabbed attention from her very first film Gangster and received the award for best debutante at big award functions. Though, the Queen star is known to give award functions a miss, she was present to receiver her award at Zee Cine Awards 2007.

Interestingly, the Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress delivered her speech in Hindi, taking everyone by surprise. It is generally seen that B-town actors deliver a speech in English while receiving their awards, despite the fact that our films are in Hindi.

Kangana Ranaut, last seen in Simran, has been quite vocal about the discrimination she had to face in the industry. The talented actress in an interview with PTI had said that people ridiculed her because of her English.

The National Film awardee has mastered the language now and speaks fluently in  English while giving her interviews. Indeed, nothing is impossible and Kangana has proved why we say so.

On the work front, the actress is currently busy with the shooting of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The epic drama is expected to hit the silver screens in August this year.
