The event ‘Gandhi Going Global’ which will be conducted in New Jersey is aimed at spreading the ideology and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi on a global platform.
The Queen actress will share the stage with eminent personalities like Martin Luther King III, Oprah, as per a press release.
Kangana, who was last seen in Simran said, "For me, it's always been about the impact you make on the society and how you contribute to it. Sharing the stage with Michelle and Oprah will be inspiring’’.
"I've never been anybody's fan but I admire and idolise women like Oprah," the Tanu Weds Manu actress said in a statement.
The 'Gandhi Going Global' summit will witness interactive activities, educational programmes, cultural celebration and motivational talks on August 18 and 19, as per the press release.
Over 25,000 people are expected to attend the massive event in the United States. More than, 500 NGOs & organisations, 100 high schools and 400 universities are gearing up to be participate in the event.
