What! Kangana Ranaut to QUIT acting after Rani Laxmibai biopic?

New Delhi:

Kangana Ranaut, who has stunned the audience with her phenomenal acting skills, is reportedly planning to quit the field now. According to the media reports, Kangana is in a mood to try her hand on direction now. Ranaut's statement came after she recently launched the biggest poster of her upcoming movie 'Manikarnika- The Queen of Jhansi', which happens to be a biopic on Ran Laxmibai.

The actress has asserted that is quite content with the way her career has shaped up so far in 11 year of her journey in Bollywood. The National Award winning actress averred that she doesn't see herself working with any director now instead Ranaut wants to go behind the camera now. "I feel whatever I have done in the last 11 years has led me to it, it completes me, I am 30 now and I don't see myself working with another director after this. I will focus on being a filmmaker," Kangana told a web portal.

Interestingly, there have been reports that the diva even added another feather in her cap after she turned a scriptwriter for her upcoming film, Simran.

Currently Kangana is busy shooting for 'Manikarnika' and is quite excited about it. "She had a great sense of right and wrong, fair and unfair, just and unjust. That's a quality I identify with her. The British did ask her to choose between life and death. She chose not to live without dignity and that's pretty much my philosophy. You cannot live without your pride as a woman," Kangana told the daily.

Helmed by Ketan Mehta, the script of 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' is penned by V Vijendra Prasad and is slated to release on April 28 next year.
