The tussle between Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar started when the actress called him the 'flag bearer of nepotism' in Bollywood on his celebrity chat show, Koffee with Karan. But, recently, in an interview, Karan reportedly admired Kangana, called her one of the best actresses in the industry and even said that he would be comfortable directing him.
During a conversation with his friend Apoorva Mehta, who is also the CEO of Dharma Productions in a chat show, Karan was asked if he would be comfortable directing Kangana in the near future. “Yes, for sure. Kangana is one of the best actresses we have," DNA quoted the filmmaker as saying.
Earlier too Karan had said that he doesn’t have any issue working with Kangana if she is required in the film. Kangana was also recently asked if she would help her child if he/she would want to become an actor 20 years down the line to which she, according to HT quoted, ''If I do that, the possibility of him being a good director will be 50 per cent. If I really care for him as a mother, I will let him find his own way, because he can make a good living out of anything, anywhere. But if I want him to be an extraordinary person, I must throw him into the sea. He will either drown or make it.''
On the professional front, Kangana is busy shooting for Panga and she will soon start promoting her upcoming film, Mental Hai Kya which also stars Rajkummar Rao in a prominent role. Post this, she will start work on Jayalalithaa biopic.
