Is Kartik Aaryan off the hook or is he not? While fans are dying to ship Kartik and Sara after the Simmba actor opened up in Koffee With Karan that she will want to date the candy-eyed actor, not everything turns the way one turns the steering wheel. And no, it is not because of the rumours surrounding the claims that the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety star might be dating Ananya Pandey. So, does that mean, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor was teasing fans with him suggesting that he will ask Sara Ali Khan soon? Possibly!

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Kartik was asked about the one question we have been dying to know, and his answer is one we never saw it coming. In a recent interaction with news agency IANS, Kartik states that he's in a “committed relationship” and no, it is not with someone we have anticipated.

Talking about his relationship, Kartik says, "I'll be shooting for 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' and will be in the middle of 'Luka Chuppi' promotions. Honestly, as of now, I'm into a committed relationship with my work and fans. No one else is in my life. I'm happy and I'm enjoying."

And it looks like Kartik is dead serious with his commitment, so sorry Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Pandey! In the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 6, Karan Johar like us, couldn’t resist asking Kartik to give an update on the status of his relationship with Sara. To this, he replied, ‘’I don't know. She is a princess. So, you know, to ask her out on a date, you know, I would require a certain bank balance’’. He also stated that he is trying to earn more and more money at the moment as is the condition laid out by after dad, Saif Ali Khan when he asked 'Does he have the money?

Talking about earning loads of money, the actor has had successful box office hits like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Ke Titu Ki Sweety, and will be next seen in the 1978 ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh' remake.
