Katrina recently shared a photo of herself with co-actor and ex-flame Salman to announce the wrap of her upcoming film 'Bharat. The photo of the two stars went viral within minutes and got over one lakh likes. Zoya Akhtar commented on it saying, “What a lovely picture.â€
The actress has also earlier shared her look from the movie. Sporting a saree and a loosely tied braid, Katrina looked pretty as a picture.

Bharat is jointly produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikhil Namit and Salman Khan. The tagline of the film reads, ‘A journey of a man and nation together.’ It also stars actors like Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff and Tabu.
The teaser of Bharat was released on the occasion of Republic Day this year. Bharat, reportedly an official adaptation of a 2014 South Korean film Ode To My Father, will hit theatres on Eid this year.
Interestingly, it was Priyanka Chopra who was initially roped in to play her role but pulled herself out of the project at the last moment as the shooting dates collided with her wedding with Nick Jonas. As luck has it, Katrina, who already was eager to be part of the film, landed the role.
Bharat also stars Sunil Grover, Tabu, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi and others in pivotal roles.
