Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani's Laxmmi Bomb grabbed much attention even before it went to floors. The upcoming Hindi remake of Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana is finalizing the star cast and now we have learnt who has been roped in for the role of the antagonist.
According to reports, Tarun Arora, the actor shared screen space with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the rom-com, Jab We Met and made you jitter with anger has been roped in for the movie.
Tarun, who played the character Anshuman, the one who rejects Geet and comes back, only to get rejected himself will get into the character of a corrupt MLA in Laxmmi Bomb. A source revealed to the tabloid, “Like in the original, the Hindi villain is also a corrupt MLA, and Raghava, who has worked with Tarun in Kanchana 3, which released in April this year, believes that he is apt for the part. His new avatar is very different from his Jab We Met character. The formalities are currently underway.”
It's Akshay Kumar Vs Gal Gadot in June 2020: DC's Wonder Woman 1984 All Set to Clash With Laxmmi Bomb at the Box Office.
Laxmmi Bomb has been in trouble even before its shooting started. Director Raghava Lawrence earlier decided to pull back from directing the movie but finally came onboard after sorting issues with Akshay Kumar.
Rumours are rife that Amitabh Bachchan might appear as a transgender ghost in Laxmmi Bomb. Kiara will portray the superstar's girlfriend in the movie. According to reports, Kiara will enjoy a substantial part in the adaptation. The script too has been tweaked to suit the sensibilities of the Hindi film audience.
