Anushka Sharma is currently busy with her forthcoming film ‘Sui Dhaaga’ which is based on social initiative ‘Make In India’. She is completely looking into the character with her deglam avatar in the flick.
Recently, the actress took her Twitter handle to share a picture of herself in which she can be seen embroidering and wrote “Katran Se Buni Kahaani, Paiband Laga Ke Hai Sunani – Sui Dhaaga’’.
In another picture which is making rounds over the internet in which she can be seen in a desi avatar wearing a saree is leaving everybody confused about her role in the film.
Last month, co-star Varun Dhawan also shared a picture of himself working on a sewing machine passionately.
Speaking about the film, Varun Dhawan also told PTI, “From Gandhiji to Modiji (Narendra Modi), our country’s leaders have always endorsed the mantra of Made in India. With Sui Dhaaga I am proud to take their message to millions of movie lovers in a manner that is entertaining and relevant. I really liked the script Sharat had written and I am happy that I am teaming up with YRF on this movie. Anushka and I are teaming up for the first time so I am sure there will be fireworks’’.

Helmed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Sui Dhaaga’ is scheduled to hit the theatres on Gandhi Jayanti this year.

Talking about Anushka’s upcoming films, she will also be seen in Anand L Rai’s Zero which also features Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in significant roles. Additionally, she will also feature in home production’s ‘Pari’.
