Malaika Arora on ex-husband Arbaaz Khan: 'He will always be family'

Malaika Arora, who recently got divorced, has opened up on her post-relationship with ex-husband Arbaaz Khan and admitted that the two continue to share cordial relation with each other. The couple had called off their 17-year wedding in 2016 leaving everyone appalled. However, despite their separation both Arbaaz and Malaika are often spotted hanging out together. In fact, Malaika is even seen at several Khan family gatherings.

Talking about her post-divorce terms with Arbaaz, Malaika told a web portal, "He will always be family." Interestigly, not just Malaika but her sister Amrita too shares a great camaraderie with Arbaaz. "We have a great rapport whether it’s our love for food or travel. He’s like my biggest hangout buddy," Amrita was quoted as saying.

Arbaaz and Malaika's divorce had come as a great shock for everyone given that the two were always considered to be one of the best couples of B-town. Though, the couple maintained a stioc stance over the reason behind their separation, it has been reported that it was Malaika's alleged extra-marital affair that made her part ways with Arbaaz.

On the other hand, Arbaaz too is said to be in a relationship. He even admitted abut the same saying, "I am dating, yes. But we are not... As of now, there is still a long way to go". In fact, he also cleared the air that though he continues to share a great rapport with Malaika, the two won't be coming back together. "I guess if that was to happen it would have happened in the first six months, or one year. It didn't and it's been almost three years now," Arbaaz was quoted as saying.
