Malaika Arora recently took to her Instagram account to post a super-romantic picture from their Maldives vacation with beau Arjun Kapoor. By sharing this picture, the gorgeous diva made her relationship with Arjun Insta-official. She captioned it with a really adorable message wishing Arjun on his birthday. "Happy bday my crazy,insanely funny n amazing @arjunkapoor ... love n happiness always,’’ she wrote.
Now, the two keep sharing adorable posts on their respective social media accounts, giving us some serious relationship goals. While the two seem pretty comfortable in each other’s company, there is no dearth of naysayers who have a problem with the fact that Arjun is 11 years younger than Malaika.
In a recent interview with HT Brunch, Malaika said that the age gap doesn't bother her and Arjun, but the society is a different matter altogether. "Unfortunately, we live in a society that refuses to progress with time. An older man romancing a younger girl is hailed everywhere, but when the woman is older, she's called 'desperate' and a 'buddhi'. For people who think like this, I have just one line: Take a flying f***,’’ she said.
She also revealed that her son Arhaan as well as her near and dear ones are really happy about this relationship. ‘’I believe the best way to approach any situation is with honesty. It’s important to tell your near and dear ones what’s happening in your life and then give them time and space to understand and process things. We have had that conversation and I am so glad that everyone is in a much happier and more honest space today,’’ Malaika said.
The couple is in New York currently for a vacation to celebrate Arjun's 34th birthday. They have been sharing photos of mushy moments with each other on Instagram.
