The song is all about that intoxicated feeling of love which no matter what, you can not resist.
Love is indeed a hangover, which remains life long if maintained properly. A feeling, every human being has gone through. Love gets you in a state when you just couldn't pull yourself out, a feeling which you just can't resist, but feel.
Love happens when you feel your partner presence but still can not believe it, the time you spend together is still just not enough. That is what the song conveys.
