Nana Patekar has denied of the alleged sexual harassment charges pressed against him by Tanushree Dutta. The Padmashree award winner is facing an outburst of controversies for allegedly sexually harassing and intimidating Tanushree on the sets of Horn Ok Please. While many celebrities from the Bollywood fraternity have taken a stand to support Tanushree, Nana stated that he will be taking legal action against the false charges. His lawyer on Friday said that he is soon going to send a legal notice to Tanushree Dutta over the allegations made against the actor.

Nana's lawyer Rajendra Shirodkar told news agency ANI, “In process of sending a legal notice to Tanushree Dutta as she has made false allegations & has spoken untruth. We will send the notice later today which will be basically a notice seeking apology for her statements making allegations.”
A lengthy twitter post was shared by journalist Janice Sequeira, narrating the incident on the actor’s account, to which many from the Hindi film industry reacted to the allegations. Many Bollywood celebrities such as Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Vir Das, Raveena Tandon, Parineeti Chopra, Sonam K Ahuja, Konkana Sen, and Richa Chadha among others have extended their support to Tanushree.
