Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee starrer ‘Aiyaary’ is one of the most awaited films of the year. The thriller has been making waves ever since the trailer was released by the makers.
The Neeraj Pandey directorial was originally slated to hit the screens on January 26, clashing with Akshay Kumar’s Padman at the box office. However, the flick will now release on February 9.
There are reports that Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Padmavat’ will hit theatres on January 25. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film has been embroiled in controversy since a long time.
To avoid the clash with two films at a time, the makers of Aiyaary have shifted the release date by two weeks. Considering the Republic Day weekend is already jam-packed, the decision to postpone the release of the film was taken.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the new release date of the upcoming film.

Aiyaary has an impressive star cast in the form of Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra, who are joined by Rakul Preet, Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher. Â The cast is currently on a promotional spree for their film.
The thriller might clash with another much-awaited movie- ‘Pari’. The Anushka Sharma starrer is also slated to release on February 9, as per media reports.Â
