The buzz is that the new ‘it couple’ met Prime Minister Narendra Modi inviting him for their wedding in Jodhpur on December 1.
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, a source in the know said, “We are not sure if she was actually able to meet the PM with her fiancé. But the invitation with a special request to put in an appearance has been conveyed to the PM.”He is said to be considering the invitation. When a pal of Priyanka got to know of the super-august presence expected at her wedding in Jodhpur he laughed, “Trust PeeCee to pull an ace from her sleeve. Reports suggest that PeeCee and Nick Jonas are sharing a fair-trade in their wedding with both a Hindu pre-wedding that includes the mehendi and the Sangeet to be followed up by a Christian ceremony. The couple is believed to have two grand receptions, one in Delhi and other in Mumbai.
The celebrity couple will be tying the knot on December 1 at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur with around 200 guests present for the celebrations. While the pre-wedding festivities are expected to kick-start by November end, we hear Sangeet and Mehendi festivities will be a week-long affair.
The 36-year-old actress has been busy filming Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink with Farhan Akhtar while her mom, Madhu Chopra is overseeing all the wedding arrangements.
