Actor Priyanka Chopra, who is basking in the glory of her spiralling fame and popularity, says that being recognised for what she is encourages her to tell stories of the heart.
Priyanka was recently listed among the 500 most influential people, which also included Indian celebrities such as Karan Johar, Salman Khan and Ekta Kapoor. The list was published by the entertainment magazine Variety.
The actor expressed her happiness over being included in the list and shared the credit with her team in an Instagram post.

"Big thanks to @variety for including me in your #Variety500 for the second year in a row! What makes this one extra special is the little name right above mine... @purplepebblepictures," the actor wrote.
Priyanka feels truly grateful for every step in the journey. "Stories are at the heart of everything we do, regardless of genre or language, and it's a wonderful feeling to know we're on the right path. This would not be possible without my team, and most importantly, my incredible partner and co-founder, @madhumalati. Feels like miles to go, but truly grateful for every step we take," she added.

The 36-year-old actor, who recently returned from US, is busy working on two Bollywood projects -- Ali Abbas Zafar's "Bharat" with Salman Khan and "The Sky Is Pink" with Farhan Akhtar.
