Megastar Rajinikanth's cult classic movie 'Baasha' is all set to hit the theatres today.
Interestingly, the movie will be re-releasing in digitised version after 20 years of its first release.
The movie, also starring Nagma, Raghuvaran, Janakaraj, Vijayakumar and Sathyapriya, was first released in 1996 and became a huge hit in Kollywood industry.
Helmed by Suresh Krishnna, 'Baasha' has been one of the important movies in Rajinikanth's career which helped him redefined heroism on the big screen.
From the punchlines to action sequences to songs, everything about the movie became a rage amongst the audience.
According to the media reports, the digital version of 'Baasha' will be released with 5.1 surround sound.
Given the huge fan following of the 'Thalaiva' star and the rage for 'Baasha', the modern version is expected to have a grand opening at the box office post release.
