Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer 2.0, after its tremendous hit at the box-office collection, is now set to sway all the records in China. The film producers, Lyca Productions, took it to their official Twitter handle to share that 2.0 will enjoy a release in China in May 2018 in a staggering 56,000 screens, out of which 47,000 screens will release the film in 3D format.

Lyca Productions, in collaboration with HY Media, which is China’s most influential Production and Distribution companies, will release the magnum opus in China. The movie will also mark the widest 3D release for any foreign film in history.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth and Akshay’s combine magic worked on the box-office collection of 2.0. Flagged as India’s most expensive film till date, the sci-fi was released on Thursday. Shankar’s directorial venture also starring Amy Jackson as the female protagonist, the film has managed to cross the Rs 100-crore mark worldwide on its first day.
2.0 managed to cross Rs 400 crore box collection within four days of its release across the globe. It is expected that the magnum opus will recover its cost with the box office collections only in just one week of its release.
As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers of the film has already made a deal of Rs 370 crore through satellite rights, digital rights and more.

2.0 will becomes Akshay Kumar’s highest grossing film of all-time within a week of its release. Trade analyst are predicting good business from the movie on weekdays as well.
Last week, Madras high Court had also issued an order to 37 internet service providers (ISPs) to block more than 12,000 websites which features pirated versions of Tamil movies. But, the movie was somehow leaked by TamilRockers, within few hours of its release.
