Actor Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth is reportedly getting ready to tie the knot with businessman-actor Vishagan Vanangamudi in February this year. Vishagan is the son of popular businessman Vanangamudi, whose brother SS Ponmudi is a member of political party Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Vishagan also owns a pharmaceutical company, worked as an actor in 2018 film Vanjagar Ulagam in which he played a pivotal role. He was married before but divorced his wife.
The couple has fixed February 11 for their nuptials while the pre-wedding festivities will begin from February 9. A puja will also be held at Rajinikanth's Chennai house in Poes Garden before their big day.
Soundarya was earlier married to businessman Ashwin Ramkumar, an industrialist and businessman on September 03, 2010 at Rani Meyyammai Hall in Chennai. Due to irrevocable differences, they announced in 2016 that they have filed for divorce. Soundarya and Ashwin got legally separated in July 2017 and the two are parents to five-year-old son Ved.Â

Soundarya had taken to Twitter to inform her followers about the divorce, “News about my marriage is true. We have been separated for over a year & divorce talks are on. I request all to respect my family’s privacy.â€
Soundarya donned the director’s hat for brother-in-law Dhanush starrer Velai Illa Pattadhari 2 in 2017, which had Kajol playing the antagonist. She has worked as a graphic designer in Chandramukhi and SivajiKochadaiiyaan starring Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone.
