Shraddha Kapoor is grinning ear to ear these days and the lady has all the reasons to do so. After all, she'll soon be sharing the screen space with 'Baahubali' star Prabhas.

The 'Aashiqui 2' girl has been finalised as the female lead in Prabhas' much talked about movie 'Saaho' and Shraddha just can't stop gushing about it.

The actress, who is elated to join the cast of 'Saaho', took it micro-blogging site Twitter to share her excitement. She wrote, "So so excited to be a part of the 'Saaho' team & to be working with Prabhas!!! Woohoo"

Interestingly, this is the first time the young actress will be working with south superstar Prabhas and she is indeed looking forward for her Tollywood debut.

Notably, it was rumored that Prabhas will be romancing his 'Baahubali' co-star Anushka Shetty in 'Saaho'. However, the actress was reportedly replaced of weight issues.

Since the speculations about the female lead of 'Saaho' were rife. However, the producers finally put all the rumors to rest and released a statement saying, “Shraddha is absolutely the perfect choice for the role. We are very excited to have her on board with us.”

They further added, “Saaho is Prabhas’s first film being shot in Hindi and so it’s very special for all of us. It is a highly ambitious project and there will be some really high-octane action scenes in the film.”

Helmed by Sujeeth, 'Saaho' will also star Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh as the lead antagonist.

Currently, Shraddha Kapoor is gearing up for the release of her much awaited movie 'Haseena: Queen Of Mumbai', where in she'll be seen in the titular role.

Based on the life of Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar, the movie will also star Shraddha's brother Siddhanth Kapoor in the role of the underworld don.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, 'Haseena: Queen Of Mumbai' is slated to release on September 22.
