After shattering a bunch of box-office records in India, Salman Khan-starrer 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ hit the theatres across China on March 2.

The movie, released as 'Liitle Lolita Monkey God Uncle' in China, managed to mint an impressive amount of Rs 14.61 crore on the first day of its release.

Sharing the first-day box office report of the flick, famous biz analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "Salman Khan’s first release in China - #BajrangiBhaijaan - commences its innings with HEALTHY numbers... Debuts at No 7 at China BO... Fri $ 2.24 million [₹ 14.61 cr]… The start can be considered IMPRESSIVE since there were 5 new films, besides #BB, debuting in Top 10 charts..."

"Besides multiple releases + holdover titles posing stiff opposition, one must also consider the fact that #BajrangiBhaijaan arrives in China after 30 months of its release in India, unlike #Dangal and #SecretSuperstar that were released a few months after their release in India," Taran tweeted further.

Talking about other recent releases in China, Aamir Khan's Dangal collected Rs. 12.99 crore on its opening day while Secret Superstar managed to mint Rs 40 crore on Day 1. The first-week collection of both the movies were Rs. 72 crore and Rs. 174 crore respectively.

Starring Harshaali Malhotra in a pivotal role, the movie earned a whopping amount of Rs 320.34 crore in India.

Helmed by Kabir Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan also stars Kareena Kapoor and Nawajuddin Siddiqui in supporting roles. Salman Khan plays Bajrangi, an ardent devotee of Hindu deity Hanuman, who embarks on taking a mute six-year-old Pakistani girl, separated in India from her parents, back to her hometown in Pakistan.

'Bajrangi' won many a heart due to Salman factor and its theme of Indo-Pak relations.
