It was on Koffee with Karan that Sara Ali Khan revealed that she finds Kartik Aaryan cute and would want to go on a date with him. Ever since, the two have been a part of rumours mills. But now the actress has said that she will get over it soon. In an interview with Vogue, talking about her comment on having a crush on Kartik, Sara said, ''If you knew all the thoughts I have but don't do anything about, I promise we would get over this Kartik Aaryan thing."
She added, "I don't think a boyfriend will mean the end of the world. I don't think that it's impossible to go out clubbing with your friends every once in a while."
The actress won her first debut award at the recently held Filmfare Awards and Kartik Aaryan couldn't stop himself from congratulating the actress. Sara had shared a picture of hers with the award on Instagram with a caption that read, "Thank you Filmfare for giving me this honour- being able to kiss the black lady is truly surreal. Team Kedarnath this one is for each and everyone of you. Thank you for making my dream come true. Jai Bholenath."
In no time, Kartik had commented, "Congratulations Sara. Ab toh coffee se kaam nahin chalega, dilli mein party karte hain."
Sara and Kartik are now working together for Imtiaz Ali's upcoming film, Aaj Kal. The two have wrapped up the first schedule of their film in New Delhi. The film is a modern love story and is slated for Valentine's Day 2020 release.
