New Delhi:

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was at wittiest best on Saturday as he addressed a session on 'Bollywood's digital push' and ended his speech with a disclaimer saying that he should not be trolled for his "star status, religion or handsomeness" and his films should not be "banned" if his words have irked any individual or a group.

The 52-year-old star, who was speaking at the Yes Bank and Economic Times Global Business submit, read the disclaimer which stated that the intention of his speech was not to hurt the sentiments of any fringes that "may not exist today but will evolve later".

"This whole speech is original and not plagiarised or copied from anywhere. There are some thoughts that I have said elsewhere, but these are my thoughts. I can repeat them and use them as I wish to. Any resemblances to people, places and things, living or dead, is purely co-incidental.

"Anything that might have hurt sentiments of any group or groups of people is unintentional and without malice... I don't even know you guys. This may also include any new organisation, trust or new hooligans or new fringes that may not exist today but will evolve later. It does not include boys and girls who have fringe hair cut. I love Sadhan ji," Shah Rukh read leaving the audience in splits.

The actor added that if any troll finds any word in his address 'troublesome' they are free to change them and even after this, if he has hurt the "sentiments of any over sensitive being, human or non-human living or dead I already tender an unconditional apology and take my words back to where they belong..."

SRK quipped that he has also attached a written apology to the speech-- his thumb print and signature.
