Shah Rukh Khan's lavish bunglow Mannat is one of the most popular tourist attraction in Mumbai. Tourists never miss an oppourtunity to click pictures with Manant at its backdrop not just with the hope of catching a glimpse of Shah Rukh but also because its prime location and its exuberant outer look.
However, in an interesting revelation we now have known that it was Salman Khan who first wanted the place to himself.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Salman revealed that when he was just starting out in his career Mannat was offered to him but when he discussed buying the property with his father Salim Khan, he asked him "itne bade ghar me karoge kya? (What will you do with this big house"
Hence, Salman Khan passed on the deal to own Mannat and eventually, Shah Rukh Khan bagged the oppurtunity to own the mansion. Salman also added that he has a question for Shah Rukh that is, "Shah Rukh ki itne bade ghar me tu karta kya hai?(What do you do Shah Rukh in this big house)"
Situated in Bandstand with a breathtaking view of the sea, Mannat is one of the most beautiful properties in Mumbai.
Salman and his parents live in two flats in “Galaxy Apartments”. This building too is located at the start of Bandstand.
Currently, Salman Khan is busy with the promotion of his Eid Release Bharat. The film is inspired by the South Korean film Ode to my father and has Salman and Katrina in the lead role. The film is slated for an Eid release and the fans can’t wait for June 5.
The actor has also wrappoed up the first schedule shoot of Dabangg 3 that is all set to release next year. He has also bagged the lead role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah opposite Alia Bhatt.
